Where to start…
I often get asked: “Where do I start? What direction should I take in my healing?”
The truth is, the very first step is not outside of you. It’s within. You need to ask your heart—your intuition, your inner knowing. If you don’t yet know how it feels to truly listen to yourself, then that is your first step toward healing.
Learn to listen to your heart, not just your mind. True healing begins within—not from the rational mind. (Don’t get me wrong, the rational mind is very important in the healing journey too, but that’s a topic for another week. We will get there. 🙂)
Once you reconnect with your inner self, it doesn’t matter which modality you choose—energy healing, mindfulness, meditation, sound therapy, yoga, breathwork, or something else. What matters is that you start today.
Ask yourself:
How do I feel right now?
What emotions brought me to this starting point?
What situations and people led me to where I am today?
There is no magic wand or shortcut. You will need to think for yourself, put in the effort, and commit to your own healing. Too often, we look for answers elsewhere—past lives, ancestors, different dimensions, life missions. But in reality, everything is so much simpler:
✨ You need to start with your life now.
✨ Begin with your emotions—the hurt you feel today, the fear, anger, sadness, guilt.
✨ These emotions will lead you back to your childhood wounds.
I guarantee you, this is where your true healing begins.
Yes, it is not easy. It can feel heavy to revisit the past, to analyze and reflect. But I promise you—it’s the way forward. From this point, everything starts to shift. You begin to feel lighter, freer, more at peace. And once you experience that, you’ll want more, because healing is not just a process—it’s a way of living and a path to your true self.
When you do this inner work, you discover your purpose, your joy, your creativity, your connection with nature, and your capacity for unconditional love. And this is when the magic happens.
I know this because I was once the person searching everywhere else for answers. I wanted others to give me direction. But every answer I needed, I eventually found within myself—and that’s where my healing truly began.
So, I share this with you in the hope that it saves you some time on your journey, and helps you realize what took me years to understand: the path is simple, and it starts with you.
With love,
Irma
